County Membership

Life membership of the Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs is open to all male members aged 18 years and over by submission of an application form by the Business Manager on behalf of the member for a fee of £40.

County Members receive:

• A free County Members tie
• An annual copy of the County Year Book containing County fixtures
• An Identity Card
• Eligibility to play in County Membership competitions, currently seven per year
• Reduced County Golf Association membership (see below)

The Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs administers amateur golf for Cheshire on behalf of the English Golf Union

County Golf Association

Membership of the County Golf Association is open to all male members aged 18 years and over by annual (1st January to 31st December) subscription of £15 (County Members £10) through the Business Manager.

Association Members receive:

• An Association Card, which entitles the Association Member to one round per year on each of the Cheshire Golf Clubs listed on the Card on payment of half the normal green fee of the Club visited

Telephone booking with the Secretary of the Club to be visited is essential as Clubs restrict Association Card visitors to specific days of the week (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are automatically excluded).

The County Golf Association is administered by the Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs, whose website contains the rules and conditions for Association Membership.
