Dress Rules & Etiquette
Members are reminded that their guests are their responsibility while
using the Club and it shall be the member’s place to ask their guest(s) to leave
if they are inappropriately dressed.
On the Course
- Shorts: Tailored shorts only to be worn with sports socks. No
beach or football shorts
- Caps/Hats: Not to be worn back to front
- Tops/Golf Shirts: To be worn at all times. No slogan tee shirts
or football shirts. Must be tucked into trousers/shorts
- Trousers: Must not be tucked into socks. No tracksuits, jogging
pants or combat trousers
- Footwear: Golf Shoes only. No trainers
- No Denim Clothing of any description
- Mobile Phones: Must be switched off except in the case of genuine
emergency. Anyone abusing the rule will be asked to leave the course
In the Clubhouse
- Shorts: Tailored shorts only to be worn with sports socks, but
not in the lounge/dining room after 8.00 p.m. No beach or football shorts
- Caps/Hats: Not to be worn in the Clubhouse
- Tops/Golf Shirts: To be worn at all times. No slogan tee shirts
or football shirts. Must be tucked into trousers/shorts
- Trousers: Must not be tucked into socks. No tracksuits, jogging
pants or combat trousers
- Footwear: No golf shoes or stocking feet
- Dungarees, Denims, Jeans: The wearing of dungarees, denims
or jeans is not permitted in members areas
- Mobile Phones: Must be switched off except in the case of genuine
emergency. Anyone abusing the rule will be asked to leave the Clubhouse
- Golf Equipment, including Shoes: Must not be stored in the public
rooms or entrance halls of the clubhouse; additionally golf equipment must
not be carried through the public rooms of the clubhouse
Course Etiquette
- Please ensure that you leave the course in the condition in which you
would expect to find it.
- Please play behind the people in front, not in front of the people behind.
- Please replace divots, rake bunkers and repair pitch marks on the greens.
